Product Description

Our champion status honey Medljikovac is one of the most appraised honeys in Croatia. It is special because it is the only honey not made from flower nectars but from honey dew in certain climate conditions. It is a strong antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agent. Forest honey is honey made from honey dew, not from plant nectars, that is flowers. It is famous as being of the highest quality worldwide, because of its ingredients and the facts it contains 13 times more mineral matter, compared to honey made from flower nectar, it is recommended for anaemia, pregnant women, children and athletes.

High amounts of iron make it suitable for people with anaemia, and recovery after diseases and operations. It is rich in mineral salts and contains small amounts of sugar, so is often recommended for diabetics and athletes. This honey is recommended especially for treatment of pneumonia. Pregnant women can take it during their whole pregnancy.

This honey is very dark, has a distinctive smell and taste, because of its high levels of minerals, especially iron, it is great for the blood count.
