Acacia honey is very light and tasty, of an extremely light colour and mild taste. It characteristics make it one of the most appreciated types of honey. Contains more fructose than glucose, so it slowly crystallizes and stays liquid for months.

Acacia honey helps with insomnia and soothes the nerve inflammation. Removes the effects of accumulated stress. Great for pulmonary issues and cough, vertigo, and climacteric ailments.

Recommended for children, convalescents and smokers. Acacia honey is very good for bronchitis and is one of the most frequently used honeys.

Recommended before sleep as an addition to herbal teas. Especially efficient with chamomile tea, St. John’s wart or lemon balm, increasing its efficiency.

Origins: Republic of Croatia, Slavonia region – northern hillsides of Dilj and the outskirts of Kopački rit in Baranja.

Characteristics: Bright yellow colour, mild taste, savoury smell. Stays liquid for a long time and is a kind of honey that crystallize slowly.

Use: Used separately but also with hot beverages as a healthy sweetener (tea, coffee, milkshake), for sweets, as spread and as an additive in salty meals. Acacia honey is irreplaceable in cakes and sweets.
